Suggest Treatment For Pain And Swelling In Groin Area After Injury

Exactly 1 week ago I fell off a stool and landed directly on top of it, severely bruising my right labia. It swelled up and turned a blackish shade of purple and hurt a lot. Now it is gradually losing color.. The pain is considerably less also. It does have a large lump still in it. It is not getting bigger. How long does it take for this type of injury to go away? I know that the bruise on my shin from the same fall has a hard lump on it also.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query

As per the scenario,I would recommend you to see a doctor,as he can examine the parts of the injured groin, and look for any abnormality.

Swelling and bruises are caused when there are any internal injuries on a certain body part.

I would definitely recommend you to get it checked as soon as possible ,as it is one of the sensitive parts of your body, and you should not ignore any internal injuries to the same.

Meanwhile, you can take pain killers and antacids with serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Thank You and regards,
I find this answer helpful
