Suggest Treatment For Pain And Burning Sensation In Lacrimal Caruncle

My Lacrimal Caruncle burns and hurts because I itched it too hard. I think I may have scratched or damaged it. I flushed it with water and I am wearing sunglasses, so that helped a little bit. What is the treatment for this? How long is the recovery? I can still see normally. Please respond ASAP. Thanks so much.

Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

The pain and burning sensation in the caruncle can be because of inflammation of the caruncle and requires treatment by the use of anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
