Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Cancer

after three years (I hadn t optimaldebulking and total hysterectomy)my ovarian cancer came back. I had a cyst which was detected on a CT scan and felt during an examination on the left side. The lab shows. It was the same cell type as the original ovarian cancer. My doctor told me that doing a second surgery for removal would not work because ovarian cancer was different than other forms of cancer. I was unable to understand what that means. As he told me there were two small broccoli like tumors that were inside the cyst. I m unclear as to why the tumors cannot be removed. And then follow with chemo etc.

Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So your cancer falls in good subset that it has recurred after long time and will be chemosensitive to original drugs used. However depending upon the expertise of surgeon a secondary debulking surgery is still possible followed by chemotherapy. You can visit some other institute for the feasible options. Hope that makes you clear.
Thanks
