Suggest Treatment For Oral Thrush While On Diflucan
I have been on clyndimicin for quite some time and I just developed a thrush in my mouth. I have also been taking Diflucan 150 tabs every 3-4 days. I am so nauseous and I do have a rx for ondanse tron 4 mg. I also take amlodipine 10 mg 1 a day and losaratan 100 mg 1 a day. and if my bp goes over I take .01 clonidine. I have been using a swish for my mouth. Question: Do you think it s ok for me to take odansce tron 4 mg as directed every 8 hours with the above meds thanks Dru Kauffman YYYY@YYYY
Fluconazole and ondansetron can be taken together. However, in rare instances, it can cause cardiac arrhythmias especially if you have pre-existing cardiac conditions or electrolyte abnormalities. If you develop dizziness, chest pain, palpitation etc while on these medications, immediately consult the Emergency room.
Hope this answers your question regards Dr.Lekshmi
