Suggest Treatment For Ongoing Pain In Elbow

I have had ongoing pain in my left elbow now for about 4 months. Nothing too painful until I try and straighten my arm out. And if I even try to grip a coffee cup I get a stabbing pain in my elbow and up my arm between the elbow and shoulder. Mind you now, I am Right Handed.

Hello,

There is possibility of tennis elbow leading to pain.
Avoid exposure of cold.

Start elbow exercises consulting physiotherapist also Physiotherapy like TENS and ultrasound will help. Take calcium supplement with vit D.
Avoid lifting weight and screwing movement.

If no relief in tennis elbow pain then local injection shot may help.

Last step is release of inflamed flexor tissue surgically.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
