Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Leg

I have a herniated disk in my low back. This has been going on for 8 or 10 years. My feet and ankles have had some numbness and more recently this is getting more intense and going on up my knees. I have had an MRI several years ago. I also had three epridurals which did not help for very long. What kind of Doctor should I go to and what should be done. By the way I am 92 and otherwise doing quite well.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
Your symptom is suggestive of pressure on the nerves supplying your legs by your herniated disc(s).
You require to be examined by a specialist in Internal Medicine or a neurologist. He/she would order a new MRI and/or a nerve conduction study to know the extend of the problem and then decide on the treatment.
Take Care
