Suggest Treatment For Numbness In My Thigh

My front thigh (quadriceps) sometime go senseless in a particular area of the size of my palm, and it sometimes burns. No pattern noticed as such, its irregular, but the senselessness is persistent, only the intensity varies. Do I need to worry? Regards, Pranay

Hello
Thanks for posting
Your symptoms are suggestive of condition known as meralgia paresthetica. In this benign condition nerve get compressed at front of thigh at belt line.
Drug pregablin helps along with vitamin b12.In resistant cases surgery to release the nerve is required.
Hope this helps.
