I have ild in lungs dr diagnoised it is nsip . So they treating with steriod wysolone 35mg . Azoran 50mg my wbc count 18, 000 co trimoxazole 160/800mg . I have short breath. My saturation level is going down .now iam in oxygen supply . Chest tiedness is there pls adivce for me dr phenumothorax is also there .after having a lung biopsy therocoscopy surgery .I want to fly. My job is in abroad. I struck up in india. Pls advice me .I want go back to abroad
Thanks for your quetion on HCM. NSIP (Non Specific Interstitial Pneumonia) is treatable condition. Bit treatment lasts long. Upto 5-6 months. Your treatment is upto the standard protocol. So stic to this treatment. And for post procedure pneumothorax , I will advice you to take oxygen and proper rest. Repeat chest x ray after 4 days. If worsening than you may need Intercostal drain. And it is wise to stay here only and avoid any air travel during 2-3 months atleast. With pneumothorax, it is life theatening to fly.
