Suggest Treatment For Nose Congestion Causing Difficulty Breathing

Hello Doctor, My 4 month old baby is having difficulty in breathing due to nose block. He is also having fever and cough. He had his 3rd vaccination of pentaxim and rotatec and also taking atarax drops, levolin drops and Azee antibiotic. But its not helping much and its getting worse. Please advice

Nasal decongestant like oxymetazolin and xylometazolin should no be given to the infant. You can give saline nasal drop safely for nasal blockage. You should consult your paediatrician.1 drop of saline nasal drop in each nostril 4-6 hourly is sufficiant. You should go to paediatrician as baby is also having fever ane cough for further work up and treatment.
