Doctor, i had nose bleeding with sputum. My MRI scan report says i have a bulky petuitary gland. But when my doctor examined the scan film and said there is no tumor so dont worry about it. my ENT doctor find my sphenoid sinus is swelling and infections. probably the blood came out from small polps inside the nose. Kindly advise me what to do next and what are the harmones i have to check in the lab.

Hi..
There is a chance of bleeding from polyps..they even cause chronic sinusitis..
Get one cbp and coagulation profile done..
If you have mild symptoms take nasal decongestants steroids and antibiotics...this can give you immediate relief..
Permanent treatment is FESS..it is an endoscopic surgery to remove blocks and polyps in nose..
If you have anymore queries u would be happy to help you..
I find this answer helpful
