Hi,

It could be because of 3 things. Neurogenic, Vascular or Joint related.

Neurogenic - Could be Carpel Tunnel syndrome where your Median Nerve get compressed due to various reasons. A carpal tunnel release could help if medications or treatment of underlying disease doesn't help.

Joints - May be it's an early symptom of Rheumatoid arthritis especially If they symmetrically involve small joints of both hands associated with Stiffness.

Vascular- Raynouds disease due to spasm of arteries or vessel obstruction at thoracic level.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Safarulla SH
