Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I read carefully your question and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to spinal canal stenosis or compression myelopathy.

As the pain irradiates in the arms, it may indicate a problem localizing in the cervical portion of the spinal cord.

From the other hand the presence of swollen glands, joint pain, low grade fever, seem to be related to an inflammatory disorder including an infection.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and some tests:

- a cervical spine CT scan or MRI
- complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate for inflammation

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Best wishes, Dr. Aida
