Levofloxacin is not free of side effects and long term use may cause some problem,so regular use is not advised.prolonged use of levaquin may cause weakening of your joints,tendons, nerves and tendon rupture is a relatively common adverse effect. In your question you are already on day three of your course,so you can continue the full regime. Since you have some gastric intolerance to the drug try to have the drug after meals.You can add a simple antacid like Rantac(ranitidine) to avoid nausea and stomach pain.
