Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Flushed Face After Cortisone Injection

Yes, you may. I had a cortisone injection in both of my shoulders on Weds. As of today I am still very nautious, flushed face. Are these both side effects of the shots? Also how long to wear off if so? Also, can you tell me how long a shot like this helps keep the pain away?

I can understand your concern regarding your symptoms.
yea,nausea and flushed face may occur as side effects of cortisone injection but it can lasts only briefly. you no need to worry about that.
Cortisone is not pain reliever. They only reduced inflamation that cause pain. Recovery after a cortisone injection does not take long.Resting the joint after the shots is important to allow the inflamation to decrease. You should avoid exercise while taking cortisone injections.
