Suggest Treatment For Myoclonus And PPS

Yes please. I am having BAD spells of of MYOCLOCLONUS & I have to wai 3 more weeks to see my seizure Dr. I have documented Post Polio Syndrome. I had Bulbar spinal polio when I was 2 years old & was in an iron lung. I have been seeing a Movement Disorder Neurologist here in Lou. Ky/ & for 4+ yrs & she turned over my my meds to my seizure Dr. & told me last month that that she had NO INTEREST IN PPS . I have since found NO dr. in Ky. that treats PPS pts. Sorry to hear about your disability.
Myoclonus responds to number of drugs,best being clonazepam.But it should be tailored to avoid respiratory depression as you are already compromised.
It would better be prescribed in controlled setting with low dose.
