Suggest Treatment For Muscle Weakness And Dizziness After Hospitalization

i received solumedrol for 3 days while hospitalized iv.high doses. It has been almost a week and i feel so many intense side effects that are worsen by the day. Extreme muscle weakness esp in calves and arms..esp side iv was on with tingling and numbness. Feel very dizzy,, neck head and eye pressure with blurred vision. Quite worried.

Dear patient
You have got the symptoms of steroid withdrawal. Solumedrol is a steroid drug and when given in high dosage leads to dependence of our body on it. So if stopped suddenly it leads to withdrawal symptoms. I would advise tapering of dosage and gradual stoppage of Solumedrol. So you should be started now with steroid drug like oral deflazacort in high dosage and then tapered over 15 days and then stopped. It will help you relief of all symptoms and also prevents withdrawal symptoms. All the best.
