Suggest Treatment For Mild Headache And Dizziness

I have sent a note to my physician earlier today but haven t heard back yet. I have had a mild achy headache at the front of my head most of the day. This follows a couple of medical events late last week. Late Friday night/early Saturday morning I got a sudden onset dull aching headache at the front of my head, followed immediately by flickering lights in my right side vision. Then everything went black...I couldn t see for a few seconds. When my vision returned, everything was out of focus (things were crossed). I was completely disoriented and dizzy. I couldn t move my right arm. The whole episode lasted 4-5 minutes at most. On Saturday afternoon, I had a similar, though not nearly as severe, episode. Needless to say, I m a bit concerned. Should I wait to hear back from my physician tomorrow or take some type of action, if any? I m a 61 year old female in relatively good health. Thanks.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM....

If you have any ear or teeth problem then mild continuous headache can occur .
So it should be ruled out...

Here you are having dizziness , defective vision and right arm not moving problem before three to four days .
So organic cause has to be ruled out ...
Your blood pressure checked....
Then CT or MRI done to detect if any intracranial haemirrhage present ...
There could also be transient ischemic attack like condition...

I would suggest you to consult physician for examination without delay...

Take care
