Hello dear,
I can understand your professional concerns are genuine regarding your weight gain. You are being given sodium valproate(depakine) 250 mg twice a day for prevention of migraine episodes.Weight gain is a very common side effect of sodium valproate. It must be the culprit in your case(and not the other drugs you are taking). Please consult your treating physician about changing this to other good options like Topiramate which will reduce your weight in addition to preventing your migraine as effectively as sodium valproate.I hope it helps.
