Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Recurrence of mastitis requires a course of antibiotic to control the infectious process.
For immediate relief, you can start with the same antibiotic which you were prescribed before.
However, a microbiological examination of the pus accumulated in the breast or breast duct needs to be done to identify the micro-organism causing the infection.
The microbiological examination of pus has to be followed by culture and drug sensitivity to select the most appropriate antibiotic effective against the micro-organism.
Consult your referring doctor at the earliest.

Thanks and take care
