Suggest Treatment For Lumps On The Scar Of Hernia Surgery
i had a umbilical hernia operation at the beginning on april this year with a mesh inserted
since having it done i have two hard lumps above the scar that are painful.
is there a way to get rid of the lumps as a times they are painful and always visable on the skin.

The easiest way is to undergo ultrasonography to see if the swellings / lumps after the surgery for Umbilical Hernia can be due to ::
Recurrence of hernia or
Organizing hematoma or
antibioma
You can go for aspiration if hematoma.
CT scan may be needed if there is a doubt.
Ultimate solution may be surgery to correct the problem if the medical management fails to resolve the lumps.
