Suggest Treatment For Lower Left Abdominal Pain

I am having sharp to throbbing pain in my lower left quant rant of my abdomen. It started as rather generalized discomfort earlier in the evening & I thought I just needed to have a bm. I did have a nomad bm, but the discomfort changed into pain on the left side. I thought it might just be gas,but even though I am passing small amounts of gas, it is not resolving. No fever. No nausea.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have lower left abdominal pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like diverticulitis , constipation , obstruction in the left part of the small or large intestine , mittelschmerz , ovarian cyst , kidney stones , Urinary tract infection and ectopic pregnancy . I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , CT scan , X-ray and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory and analgesic . Doctor may also recommend surgery or may refer you to gynecologist . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
