Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

I will keep my answer brief as I want you to seek medical care as much as possible.

I am concerned about your headaches and dizziness more than anything as a symptoms of concern. If you were hit in your head, you could have serious risk for possible injury of your brain and should seek emergency care inmmediately. An emergency room can perform a CT scan of your head which is safe for the baby to make sure you are not bleeding in your brain.

Regarding the baby, it makes sense you have neck pain because you were hit by the door. But unless you were hit in the abdomen it is unlikely to hurt the baby, and as long as you have no baginal bleeding there is no reason to suspect anything is wrong.

So please go to the hospital to make sure you are OK and don't worry the baby is well protected by your body and will be fine.

I hope I was able to answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.

Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy, Dr. Brown
