Suggest Treatment For Low Thyroid Levels

Hi, for me low thyroid is detected. 0.012 tsh test. facing severe bones weekness.hand pains is more , concentration, forgot things.gidiness. since 5 month , my throid found up and dow. pls guide. I stay in hyderabad. I have many responsibilites and working on lead position in IT. Will appreciate for guidance.

Hi thanks for using Healthcaremagic
we should do a complete Thyroid profile
which means FT4/FT3 and TSH
We have to see all the values before coming to a conclusion.
Please do the rest of the test
If T4/T3 are elevated with suppressed TSH ,then it is called hyperthyroidism.The next step will be a complete blood count and Technetium uptake scan of the thyroid
We have to differentiate between Thyrotixicisis and Thyroiditis..
If T4/T3 is also suppressed along with TSH then we have to look for central hypothyroidism..(problem in the pituitary gland)
