Hi welcome to HCM.... You have very low platelet count .... Low platelet can lead bleeding .... First investigation that should be done is peripheral smear examination ... It will help in rule out schistocytes (microangiopathic hemolytic anemia ), abnormal cells like blast (leukemia ), pancytopenia(need bone marrow examination ) etc .... It will also rule out malaria infection if present .... For dengue serological testing done .... Also investigate with BT, PT , APTT ... If cause not clear of low platelet than bone marrow biopsy might useful ... If needed platelet function analysis and blood culture can be done according to need ... Get your examination done and accordingly investigated .... If needed RDP transfusion can given for that ... Consult physician for your case with keeping these in mind .... Take care ....
