Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion And Vomiting With Diabetes

Hi my father age is 62 from last night he went 11 times due to loose motion and feel vomiting and he is heart and dibitic pateint please suggest . Yesterday his BP is also low and in the morning fever is 92 .His last echo lvef value is 18 percent. Water and salt was already controlled. Please guide me through.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your Father who is 62 years old, having 11 loose stools and feel vomiting last night, he is heart and diabetic patient also, his BP was low yesterday...
When the patient has diabetes and heart problem and develops loose stool, you should take him immediately to the hospital or ER for urgent clinical evaluation and examination.
His old problems of heart have to be managed well under the guidance of a Cardiologist.
Go for the blood sugar levels, HbA1c and such all investigations related to diabetes to be in control for early recovery.
Replacement of fluids and electrolytes as per the lab reports is very important as also to give proper antibiotic cover and symptomatic and supportive treatment.
