Suggest Treatment For Liver Damage

hi need a second opinion i had a blood test couple of days ago and the results were i have a high alcohol intake the funny thing is i don t drink every day or every weekend the doctor said that my liver is pretty crap i only started up drinking about a year and a half ago after my brother past away before then i didn t drink for about 23yrs

I understand your concern.
Alcohol intake is known to cause liver damage by 'alcoholic hepatitis'. It is not the frequency or number of years of intake which should matter in causing liver damage. It can cause at a very early stage in some people, which could have happened to you.
Anyway, what exactly damage has happened can not be concluded at this stage because you have not given the blood test report.
Hence, what the doctor has told could be right. You can only prevent further damage and regain proper liver function if you quit alcohol. Otherwise, damage continues and you will land up in fatty liver and cirrhosis of liver with many other complications.
So, take care of your health. Eat healthy and live healthy. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
