Suggest Treatment For Lightheadedness And Diarrhea
My husband who is 56, 5feet 8 inches tall and takes cholesterol medication recently fell unconscious. He complained of feeling light headed, nauseaus, weak, seeing everything around him dark, wanting to use the bathroom as if he had a diarrhoea, and a pain or discomfort in his stomach. He recently hurt his back and was prescribed pain killers for that. He'd taken 2 that night. When he started feeling ill he was sitting up in bed reading. Any suggestions?

Treatment
Fluids can be replaced by simply drinking more fluids, or they can be received intravenously in severe cases. Children and older people are more vulnerable to dehydration.
Oral rehydration solution/salts (ORS) - this is water that contains salt and glucose. It is absorbed by the small intestine to replace the water and electrolytes lost in the stool. Loperamide is an antimotility drug that reduces stool passage.
