Suggest Treatment For Left Sided Varicocele
Dear docter , i am 22 years old and last month it waa diagnosed that i have left side varicocele . I had no idea that it is an abnormality because i had it for the past 2 years . About getting ultra aound , it was confirmed. I visited many specialists but none of them suggested me for surgery but didnt even gave any medication or cure . Having been in notice through internet , i am worried about the fact that it can effvt my fertility . Please kindly guide me what to do ? What other precautions or treatment should i take except surgery ?

Your concerns about infertility due to vericocele are true but a mild small vericocele doesn't lead to infertility. That can be a reason behind no surgery advised to you by your doctor. Small size vericocele can be a normal anatomical variation too, which you might have noticed now only.
You need to wait and watch. If it increases in size you need to visit your doctor and explain him about your concerns. Wear fit sized undergarments. Meanwhile request an ultrasound scan of abdomen specially left kidney to know about the cause behind vericocele because problem in left renal vein can lead to this. If it is there visit your doctor urgently.
