Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Calcified opacity on chest x ray is suggestive of old healed Scar lesion.
Any lung infection heal by fibrosis or calcification. No treatment is required for these as they are inactive fibrotic scars.
These scars are remain throughout the life.
First fitness purpose, you should consult pulmonologist and get done CT thorax and bronchoscopy.
If both these are negative for active infections then you can argue with Visa authority for fitness.
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.

Calcified opacity does not suggest active infection.
For visa purpose, we have to prove that your Calcified opacity is not due to active infection.
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done CT thorax and bronchoscopy.
If both these are negative for active infection, you can argue with visa authorities about having old healed Calcified Scar, not an active infection.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
