General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.

Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. As per her CT report, please find my advice below:

1) Do treatment for stroke as usual and check her neurological clinical signs time to time which needs some times to improve due to her age.

2) Tell your doctor to control BP and treat the underlying conditions associated with this CVA.

I think (CAROTID ARTERY) which needs to be evaluated by CTVS expert and repair by endovascular methods which will remove any risk in future. Also do ECG and ECHO.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks,
Dr. Uday Nath Sahoo
