Suggest Treatment For Joints Pain And Sinus Infection
My mother has been on home IV Merrem for 2 weeks. Her Hgb is 8. Does she need a transfusion? She has a heart rat in low 100 s, BP averages q50/80 s. She is weak, at times confused, shaky with effort and having joint pains. All are new symptoms. She is 84 years old and is on Merrem for a Pseudomonus sinus infection which abscesses into her eye, requiring surgery.

Joint pain is age related because osteoarthritis of joints is very common in old age and particularly in females. She can take pain killer sos along with calcium supplements. For sinus infection consult ENT surgeon and follow expert advice. Do steam inhalation two to three times daily which is very helpful for sinusitis.
