Suggest Treatment For Joint Hypermobility

I have hypermobility in my joints which has recently been formall diasnosed by my GP and referres for physio as my left knee is suffering from partial subluxations of the patella as my ligaments are too lax to provide any support. The physio has now told me that my kneecap is tilted instead of level so does not fit in the groove properly which the GP failed to notice. I get pain whem driving and it feels as though a bubble is popping under my kneecap when i use the clutch pedal. I am told physio may help but it will not solve the problem and is causing me daily pain which i did not have before. I have never been offered an xray or any alternative therapies. Could a different approach help me more? Is there more going on than just JHS?
