Suggest Treatment For Itchy Skin
I have itchy skin in the morning and worse in the evening... The dermatologist prescribed 10mg of Hydroxyzine once a day... I took it one or two days and it zonked me out... Not really sure it helped the itch... I have the itch back and wonder if I should take and if it is really a drug that will stop the itch?

Hydroxyzine is effective in the treatment of itching but it causes sedation in many individuals.
I would recommend you to take nonsedative antihistaminic like tablet fexofenadine 180 mg twice daily.
This will take care of your itching.
