Suggest Treatment For Itchy Red Irritation On The Vagina
I had sexual intercourse with my partner on Saturday. He has been the same partner for 12 years. The next day my clitoris was very itchy at first. Now on day three It burns and now my whole vagina is red and irritated. I also have two swollen bumps on my clitoris. I ve put vagisel and monestat cream, but it seems like it irritated me more. I ve damped my clitoris with damped warm wash cloth as well, but nothing seems to be working. What should I do?

Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. How the swollen bumps looks like. ? Is it like blistering type. ? Can you send a picture of it. ? If blistering type then it can be most likely genital herpes. A consultation with a dermatologist will be well appreciated . In such case can go for herpes 1 and 2 tests to rule out that. Acyclovir cream locally and oral famcyclovir therapy will be helpful also. You can use ice water or saline to wash the area which will be soothing also. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
