Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bumps On The Ankle , Wrist And Feet

I have bumps mainly on the tops of my feet and ankles and hands and wrists. It is extremely itchy. Most of them have scabbed now and I believe will leave scars. I have bought several creams but it seems to be just a temporary relief. I have done extensive search on line but am feeling confused as to exactly what it is. Thanks for your help.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

I have understood your problem. It seems like a case of insect bite hypersensitivity. I would suggest you to apply mild steroid creams like triamcinolone/ hydrocortisone over affected area during night time, and soothing lotions like calamine in day time. Oral antihistamines like cetrizine will help you for symptomatic relief. It will not leave you permanent scars, only pigmentation which will fade after a while.

I hope I was able to address your concern
