Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bruise On The Thigh

This has happened before... but Last night my right thigh became incredibly itchy. I tried not to scratch it and refrained to only very light scratching. Today, I have a very large light purple bruise covering the area. This has been accompanied by being very fatigue and not feeling myself or right. I recently got over a urinary tract infection. I am also on medication for depression and anxiety. Should i be worried?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi

Sudden appearance of an itchy lesion over the leg could be suggestive of an insect bite reaction .
Since you are on various medicines also,so a possibility of a drug reaction should also be considered .
In either case ,keep the affected areas clean and dry .
Apply a topical steroid cream over the lesion to bring down the allergic skin reaction.
