Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods And Pcod While Having Thyroid Problem

Female, age-30, height- 5.2 feet, I had prolonged bleeding sometime back for almost more than 10 days and hence consulted doctor. It cam out that I have thyroid problem, I am taking 25mg thyroxim every morningsince last one month, but still not seeing any effect, I still have irregular preiods, hair stopped growing long back, have thin and dry hair. Always feel fatigued...its like noe interest left in the life. We are planning to have second kid but due to PCOD problem, I am not able to conceive as well as loose weight. What should I do?

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
As you have hypothyroidism and PCOS, I want to know about your TSH level.. After starting levothyroxine supplementation, what is the status of thyroid?
second, you can conceive with PCOS and hypothyroidism.. 1st important thing, your thyroid should be with in normal range.. then you have to modified your life style i.e. your physical activity, exercise and your eating pattern...
If you are not able to conceive then you have to consult Endocrinologist ...
We can give you ovulation induction therapy to you..
Don't worry for all your issue, Consult endocrinologist for further management and evaluation..
