I am 33yrs old with 3 kids.i had c section done along with tubectomy.i delivered my 3rd child 4 months ago. I breast feed my child.after delivery I had bleeding for 40 days continued by spotting.i consulted my gynaec and she prescribed regesteron to have for 21 days and during that period my spotting cleared off.after completion of tablets I had my periods for 5 days.now its one and half month I see no symptoms of periods.am I pregnant.i avoided sex with my husband for 3 months after my c section.please help.
Hi, I have gone through your problem. Irregular periods after childbirth and during lactation period are very common due to hormonal changes. Since you had tubectomy along with c section, it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant. Still, I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test and if it is negative, which is highly probable, you should wait for the periods.
