Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heartbeats

sometimes i feel missing heart beat but as soon as gases pass down or upwards it is normal beat please let me know is the irregular or miss beat related to gases I have had my ECG and Heart Echo test done and these reportedly are normal according to the local doctors here what do u think i should do

Hi there, if your EKG and echocardiogram were normal, then the palpitations you are feeling occasionally are most likely PVC's (premature ventricular contractions) which would not be cause for concern, as they are a relatively benign finding. Since you are feeling the palpitations quite frequently, I would coordinate with your primary care doctor to possibly arrange referral to a cardiologist so that you can obtain 24 hour (or longer) heart monitoring. Sometimes, you can also arrange to wear a monitor where you can hit a button when you are feeling you are missing a heart beat (so that your cardiologist can see if the sensation is related to an abnormal heart rhythm).
