Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heart Beats And Chest Pain

hi! ts been 3 months now first tme i had chest pain, i thought i was dying it lasted nearly an hour,and after that the pain decreased but it didnt go away.. but every now and then i feel pain with every heartbeat; i dont know how to explain it but sometimes i feel like there is an extra heartbeat.. but this week the pain is getting worse,i feel like there is a knife stabbing in my heart and tightness near my heart. and too be completely honest am feeling it right now..its really painful so please my question is :could this be a heart problem???

Hi welcome to HCM
chest pain assosciated with palpitations and shortness of breath on exertion points towards Coronary artey disease.Hypertension,Diabetes,smoking,family history etc can be the risk factor.life style modification like exercise , low salt intake,regular heart checkup will be helpful to prevent the disease.So get an ECG immediately to rule out Acute MI.Troponin I,cardiac enzymes,2D Echo,lipid profile are some investigations to get an idea of your problem. You should also get your BP and Heart rate monitored.Antiplatelet drugs,Anti hypertensives will be helpful once diagnosed.Coronary angiogram followed by angioplasty is helpful.So consult your cardiologist for expert management.
