I m looking for a new primary care doctor who takes medicaid. My doctor, Dr Howard, passed away at the beginning of this week. I m getting ready for a colonoscopy as Dr Howard said I have some kind of internal bleeding going on. I ve been cleared by a heart doctor and just waiting for my colonoscopy appt to be scheduled. So need a primary care doctor soon.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of passing away of your Primary care Doctor who had advised you colonoscopy for internal bleeding; you have been cleared of cardiac check up and ready for scheduling for colonoscopy.
This looks to be a problem that your Doctor thought of as you must have history of blood in stool or malena means black stool, anemia or some sort of secondary effects.
You might have put up the whole history.
Well, you will certainly get the Primary care Doctor.
get the colonoscopy done and let us know the reports so that we can discuss further.
Till then get the following also done:
Tests of blood for CBC, BT, CT, and other parameters.
Tests of stool for three consecutive days.
CT scan of the abdomen helps in many cases.

I find this answer helpful
