Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Epigastric Pain

I am having intermittent epigastric pain that came on suddenly about 13 hours ago. When it comes on, it is very severe. Duration it lasts is variable. No rhyme or reason to it. It causes pain upward from the epigastric area into the jaw. I ve tried zantac, aspirin and tylenol. None made any difference. Nothing specific brings it on and nothing helps it go away. The last wave of it went straight through to my back. I have had my gallbladder taken out. No diarrhea, no constipation, no nausea or vomiting. Just this severe intermittent pain.

hi,
I noticed that your gall bladder has been removed...so this sort of slows down the digestive process ,especially the fatty stuff ,cos bile juice which is stored in galll bladder is very important in fat digestion....
so now you have to be a little easy on the oily stuff and fried stuff you take...
the epigastric pain you get can be due to gastritis and indigestion...
drink lots of water and then, tb.esomeprazole at night before food should help to overcome GERD..hope this answer was helpful.
thank you.
