Suggest Treatment For Insomnia

Hello, I have insomnia for 8 days now, I need help and do not want to take any medications that are bad for me. What can i do, im losing my mind. The below, I do none of them and still cant sleep *
Sleep as much as you need.
*
Avoid oversleeping.
*
Follow sleep hygiene like sleep at the same time and wake up at the same time every day.
*
Avoid intake of heavy foods in the night.
*
Avoid alcohol consumption, smoking, and exercising in late evenings and in night.
*
Exercise regularly for about 20 minutes daily, at least 4-5 hours before going to sleep.
*
Keep the sleeping room quite, dark and cool for better sleep.
*
Try relaxation methods like yoga, meditation or listening to soft music.
*
Avoid taking long naps in the morning.
*
Avoid eating food, watching TV, reading books in the bed.
*
Avoid excessive fluids before sleeping.
I avoid all the above!! and still no sleep!

I would suggest you to keep following all these sleep hygiene practices.

In addition, drugs like zolpidem or ativan (prescription drugs) if taken on SOS basis for inducing sleep, are not harmful for body.

They can be bad if taken for long term.

Please consult your physician and discuss this.
