Suggest Treatment For Insect Bites

I was bitten by something about 3 weeks ago and it has not healed. Clusters of blisterlike bumps as many as 20-30 in each cluster and they are all over my stomach. They are VERY itchy. Does this sound more like bed bugs, spider mites, fleas? Scratching makes it worse and soap stings when I wash the affected area

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have got a severe allergic reaction with the chemical substance that is injected under the skin by the insect/bug bite..
The exact cause of the symptoms or the organism that has bitten you can be confirmed only after a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood tests..
I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and blood tests can be helpful in diagnosis..
You can be advised to take anti allergics like Allegra or Levocetrizine along with a short course of steroids..
You can be advised to apply a steroid ointment over the rashes and bumps..
You can do cool compresses over the area..
Apply Calamine lotion to soothe the skin..You can also be given a steroid injection for faster relief..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
