Suggest Treatment For Inner Ear And Scalp Pain

I am experiencing right inner ear pain that seems to worsen when i bend over. the pains are stabbing when they occur. I also have right sided scalp pain. I recently had microvascular decompression on left side for TN now 3 months post-op. Any answers

Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your symptoms,it is suggestive of Right sided Trigeminal Neuralgia.

It would be advisable to consult a Neurologist doctor and MRI brain to find out the cause.

You may find relief by taking the following medication:
Antidepressants like Amytriptilline,
Anticonvulsants like Carbamazepine,Gabapentine,
Vitamin B12 like Methylcobalamin.

Microvascular decompression surgery as done on left side might be needed if there is no relief with the medication.
