Suggest Treatment For Inguinal Hernia In The Lower Abdomen

My speakers are not working. I have an inguinal hernia, lower abdoman, right side. Is the net safe? What does the surgeon do? Will it return. It was discovered last April (8 months ago). I don t hurt, but my mornings are spent trying to make sure that I do not get stopped up. I have become a hermit. I will be 84 in Feb., otherwise good health. I am concerned about the net. The surgeon that I talked with was not very clear or concerned. He just insisted on surgery two days later. I think I need another doctor who will explain what he will do and why. Hello Sir

Dont worry at all.
The surgeon has suggested use of net or mesh which actually blocks the inguinal canal from letting any tissue down through it.
When the surgery is conducted they implant a mesh to control dripping down of tissues.
There are no known side effects of implantation of nets.

Hope that clears
Thanks
