Suggest Treatment For Indigestion And Heartburn

Hello . I have just started taking LIPITOR as a medication to assist in my high cholesterol I am female.. 62 .. 128 lbs .. walk daily .. have Asthma (4 yrs) .. eat well .. had no idea my cholesterol was high until my new doctor told me .. now I read the side effects and I am horrified .. I am becoming constipated; I have night-time gas; I am constipated (I was before, now it s WORSE); I have indigestion (in this country U say heartburn .. I am English :) ) and my urine is a dark yellow .. Should I be concerned ? Attn: Dr. Andrew Rynne I believe U received my situation re LIPITOR I thank you for your time .. HI,

At your age indigestion is frequent problem. try taking some ppi like pantoprazole and it's combination with ondensetron in consultation with your physician. Less frequent heartburn can be managed with antacid syrup like Digene as required. Also you can try some yoga asana like Vazrasana to be done after lunch and dinner for 10-15 min. If you want drug free approach. Keep walking daily as you do. stay healthy.
