Suggest Treatment For Immobility & Paralysis

My mother was diagnosed with TB meningitus five months back. She is continously taking ATTs (Myrin-P) 5 tabs a day with Vita 6. Currently after 5 months of regular medical treatment and physiotherapy, she is unable to move and almost paralysed. Her lower limb has got very weak and she cannot even turn herself around. She lost her short term memory. She lost urine+stoul sensation(doesn t feel that at all). Intake is also not that much good. She chews the food but does not swallow that so we are left with no choice but to give her semi-solids and liquids.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
I suggest what ever you are doing is a good treatment for her. Now to get next opinion I suggest to visit neuro physician once again and check what he can suggest on medication.
As per the physio treatment. At this point we can not do much apart from moving her legs and hand passively or with some active participation of patient if possible. Since she is not taking much food she will also have generalize body weakness.
Yes once she recover from weakness and start taking food properly we can definitely do some thing called as pnf technique as well as motor relearning therapy to activate the muscle. But here time is not define for recovery and it all depends on how much damage has happen in side the brain. I appreciate your effort towards your mother's health concern. Take care
