Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism With Headache

Hi my mother is 52 years old, she has hypothyroisdism status. TSH is above 10, CRP is almost high, and she already suffers from liver abnormalities.

Her physician stopped her the Nebilet and gave her instead Coveram 5mg and Concor 5mg, she's also taking pariet 20mg. But she's still has headache every day especially in the morning and feels tired. so did she get the right treatment and medications, or something else should be done? thank you

Hi thanks for using Healthcaremagic
TSH above 10 is grossly elevated. It has to be corrected. You can give Thyroid replacement therapy after consulting your doctor.
CRP is also elevated. It could be due to any inflammatory peoces.
The headaches has to be evaluated
so many things can cause headache
Hypothyroidism,vascular headache (like migraine),intracranial problem(brain pathology),Eye problem(eye pressure,refractory error)
Proper examination is needed for the headache.
you can ask your doctor to add a beta blocker as pressure tablet,it can help vascular headaches..same time other check ups also has to be carried out...
You can also ask your doctor for a vasculitis screening ..(in view of raised CRP)
thank you.....
