Suggest Treatment For Hypertension And Headaches

I have hypertension and I have watched my blood pressure climb from 140/90 this morning to now 154/109. I am not actively doing anything at the moment. I have also had headaches for the last 5 days. I currently take blood pressure medication and am wondering if i need to be concerned?

Dear you definitely have hypertension . What treatment you are taking you have not mentioned that.as you have mentioned this is obvious that your blood pressure is not well controlled .don't panic about that..keep watch on your blood pressure regularly and if it is found to be above target level of more than 120/ 80 on 2 to 3 different occasion over one week period then definitely it's an indication of increasing the dose of antihypertensive or adding another drug.their are some non pharmacological or life style modifications to manage blood pressure as well these I would like to suggest you. These are maintain your BMI less than 25 that is only possible by reducing your weight , Dietary salt restrictions, moderation of salt consumption and physical activity . All these will help you in decreasing your blood pressure . Hope this will help you .
